Transfer Day Dec. 10th

Before we left for the Doctor's office we held hands in my living room as Tim said a beautiful prayer. At this point, we were not sure if the embryos were alive or if they were healthy enough to transfer into my uterus. The transfer day was filled with such emotion by all of us, including the staff. They got to witness the love between two families! My mom & Amanda's dad were with us for support, they were so excited to be apart of our special day!
Amanda & Tim get amazing news...two healthy embryos to transfer!!

Tomorrow is the BIG day!!

Well, it's here! Tomorrow at 11am we hope to transfer two healthy eggs. I have an acupunture appointment at 10:30am (apparently it helps before and after the transfer). Please keep Amanda, Tim & my family in your prayers. This is truly in God's hand now. I cannot express how amazing my family (Abe & the boys) have been, they are so supportive and help get me through everyday. The progesterone shots are brutal but so worth it! I pray we get a healthy bambino (or two)! Also, I am so touched by all of the encouraging e-mails I've received from friends & family, thank you!!
In Christ,
Tracy

Gestational Agreement

Abe, Amanda, Tim & I spent this past Sunday at Faith Mountain Ranch (Amanda's father's ranch in Boerne) going over the "Gestational Agreement/Contract" this is a legal document that covers all of the legal procedures for gestational parents and intended parents. It was 40 plus pages and we had to read every word. The great thing is we all agreed with a few minor revisions. Our Attorney will file the contract with the court. At this time we are waiting for our court date which we hope will be early next week. Once this is complete, I will start my injections and hopefully get my calendar with the transfer date!! We hope to complete the transfer by December. Abe & I had to take a class so Abe will be able to give me shots, I thought he was going to pass out in class, LOL! The picture above is of Abe practicing on a rubber element which is suppose to be similar to my hip. Please continue to pray for us on this amazing journey!

So Far So Good!!

My appointment Monday went great. Apparently, I have fabulous fallopian tubes, LOL! Our next appointment is next Thursday, September 30th at 1pm. Abe and I have to take a class so he can give me shots. I will post more about this process once I take the class.
I've received several e-mails from friends stating they have gone through IVF.
In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) is a process by which egg cells are fertilised by sperm outside the womb, in vitro. I did not realize how common it was. Also, for those of you who don't know, I am basically the vessel that will carry Amanda & Tim's embryo (s). We will transfer 2 eggs when the time comes. Thanks again for your continued words of encouragement, support & prayers!
Blessings!

Our First Appointment!

Our first appointment went great. I had an ultra sound of my uterus and it looked great, lol.
Our next appointment is this Monday at 7am. I will have a hysterosalpingogram (HSG) test. This test will determine if my fallopian tubes are open. So far so good, please continue to pray for us!! Here is a picture of Amanda & I with our doctor, Dr. Hudson (she is pregnant)!
