So Far So Good!!

My appointment Monday went great. Apparently, I have fabulous fallopian tubes, LOL! Our next appointment is next Thursday, September 30th at 1pm. Abe and I have to take a class so he can give me shots. I will post more about this process once I take the class.
I've received several e-mails from friends stating they have gone through IVF.
In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) is a process by which egg cells are fertilised by sperm outside the womb, in vitro. I did not realize how common it was. Also, for those of you who don't know, I am basically the vessel that will carry Amanda & Tim's embryo (s). We will transfer 2 eggs when the time comes. Thanks again for your continued words of encouragement, support & prayers!
Blessings!

Our First Appointment!

Our first appointment went great. I had an ultra sound of my uterus and it looked great, lol.
Our next appointment is this Monday at 7am. I will have a hysterosalpingogram (HSG) test. This test will determine if my fallopian tubes are open. So far so good, please continue to pray for us!! Here is a picture of Amanda & I with our doctor, Dr. Hudson (she is pregnant)!

My journey as a Surrogate starts Friday, September 17th!!!

Hello there! For those of you who don't already know, I will be a Surrogate for my cousin, Amanda Meaux & her husband, Tim Meaux. They will be the best parents, I hope to help them with their wish!
How did this come about? Well, it is a long story but I'll try to keep it short. Amanda was diagnosed with severe Endometriosis awhile back. She endured medications, surgery etc but nothing helped. She had to have surgery a few months ago & the Doctor was hoping to remove the endometriosis & keep her uterus so she could carry a baby. When they went in for surgery the endometriosis was so bad they had to do a full hysterectomy. Before her surgery, I offered to carry her baby for her.
My first appointment is September 17th. I will update my blog often. Please keep our families in your prayers! I also have to give a huge "shout out" to my wonderful husband, Abe, and my precious boys, Nicholas (9 years) & Gavin (6 years) they are my strength & are very excited about this journey!! Again, please keep us in your prayers!
